Haiku through the Seasons

Haiku is traditionally inspired by nature and has an element that ties in to the season.  Short (17 syllables max, only 3 lines) but powerful, haiku has the ability to evoke so much in so little words.  Consider for example this haiku by Chiyo-ni, one of Japan's first renowned female haikuists:

butterfly—

what dream

is making your wings flutter?

I will start with an overview of haiku and its intention.  Then share images to get us thinking of each of the seasons.
