When Words Collide August 2021

I taught an online workshop at this year's 10th Anniversary writers' conference, based on the integration of dream into poetic landscape.
Poetic Dreamscapes:
Have you ever woken up to the fragment of a dream lingering in your consciousness? What kind of poetry would you write if you could wander barefoot through the dream imaginarium? A world coloured Chagall-blue, a world of underwater breathing, a world as evoked by Margaret Atwood in her poem Variations on the Word Sleep. A world where you could have a glass of wine with Pan or converse with long-gone ancestors.
Come ready to release preconceptions and inhibitions, and allow your writing to grow wings in the wordless landscape of dreams.
