On Saturday, December 6, I participated in the online launch of the 2025 Brownstone Anthology, which includes my poem The Sequence, written in January 2025

in Leucadia, California.

​On Sunday December 14, I was one of four feature readers, sharing from The Moon and All Her Faces in the Cultivating Voices Live Online Poetry Series New Book Showcase.

Wonderful news to wrap up a productive and fruitful

year:  two of my poems from The Moon and All Her Faces ... My Mother Speaking to my Father, and The Kindness of Combing, have been nominated for the 2026 Pushcart Poetry Prize!

Exciting and unexpected news!  I have been nominated

for the Haiku Foundation Touchstone Award for my

Sense and Sensibility Haiku!

I was invited to participate in the December launch of the 40th Anniversary Anthology of the Association of Canadian Italian Writers, The Nuances of Love, in Toronto.

Looking forward to 2026 ... more readings live and online from The Moon and All Her Faces, a new collection in April with co-author Charles S. Cobean, and a trip to read in Ireland and in Italy!  Happy New Year!
