Haiku Evening at Parkland Poetry

It was an honour to be asked to co-feature and host the Parkland Poets' Society Haiku Night and book launch of President Lisa Mulrooney's collection of haiku paired with photography, entitled Moments.

Poet Laureate of Stony Plain, Lisa Mulrooney, will be launching her new Haiku Poetry Book.
The evening will be hosted by Josephine LoRe of Calgary and special guests include Vera Constantineau, Poet Laureate of Greater Sudbury, and Michelle Soon of Stony Plain.
Bring along a haiku or two to read at the open mic. For those looking for a challenge . . . we are offering up a three themes to consider for your open mic haiku: WINTER, FIRE, and SWEET SURPRISES! Hopefully, one of these themes will give you some inspiration.
